The Process Model

  • 1
    Control Surface.
The Control Surface contains all the controls in the model which you can adjust to show "what happens if ...?".
  • 2
    Dashboard.
The dashboard has the charts and graphs you need so you can see what happens to key performance indicators when you make changes via the Dashboard.
  • 3
    Systems Dynamics model.
The Systems Dynamics Model processes the key parameters that you set from the Control Surface, and displays the results on the Dashboard. The Model contains all the key relationships for your chosen service industry processes.

Testimonials

  •     We saved $500,000 in our first model, by not buying kit we didn't need.

aorist Service Process Modeling

Understand exactly what to improve in your business to get the results you need.

Effective understanding is critical to successfully increasing output and reducing costs in complex and inter-dependent service processes. Through our deep expertise in building systems dynamics models that are highly realistic, and where all inputs, feedback loops and processes vary and interact; as in real life, we can help you pinpoint bottlenecks and visualise the effects of change - before you make it. You can accurately predict the impact of business improvements on output and cost, and identify where best to deploy Lean or 6 Sigma improvement in your business.

Example Process Modeling project - improving service process throughput

  • Problem
Insufficient throughput in a core service process.
  • 1. We built a model
To represent process inputs, ouputs and relationships.
  • 2. We added controls
So the Client could vary key performance parameters.
  • 3. We added data displays
So the Client could visualise the effects of changes.
  • 4. We explored the model
To find the optimum efficiency and throughput settings for the process.
  • Result
The process throughput was doubled when used in the optimimum manner (identified via the model), avoiding the need for additional staff and equipment costs. Businesses typically benefit from a 50 - 100+ times rate of return, when measuring the cost of an aorist Lean 6 Sigma or Lean training course and coaching against the benefits derived from applying it the very first time in their business.
